Hop Farm Part One

Yesterday I went to the Hop Farm Music Festival. The festival's only in its third year, but even so they managed to get a line-up that included Mumford & Sons, Peter Doherty, Laura Marling, Johnny Flynn, THE Ray Davies and, yes, little Bobby Dylan. So, for your visual and auditory stimulation and pleasure, I have assembled this collection of vids 'n' pics, to peruse at your leisure. More videos to come, when I've mastered the finer points of Vimeo.

Below is just another snippet of Bob, taken just before the memory card ran out of space. Bonus points if you can identify the song. (One of my favourite parts of a Dylan gig is afterwards; listening to people bitch and moan about the set list, the phrasing, the lyric changes, and the fact that Dylan just hasn't got 'it' anymore. I'm fairly certain people have been having that whinge since about 1965. Bless.)

This is mostly for the benefit of me Pa. Hope you like this, Yifi (please show it to him, Jimi). Below are a few pics as well. Some Dylan, some just so you can dig the festival vibe. Will endeavour to upload more vids at earliest convenience. Cheers kids.

A Dylan crusty wears it with pride. Until Hop Farm, I hadn't seen so many Dylan t-shirts in one place since last time I did my Dad's laundry.

This is what festivals look like for short people. I had to hold my camera UP to get this photo.

 We love you, Bob.

I love you, Dad.
